The Pyramid Bag is a love poem to Africa. Its shape is reminiscent of the Great Pyramid of Giza, said to connect heaven and earth. Young coconut shell inlays the bags’s wooden base and zipper pull, a reference to Giza’s limestone bricks. The body of the Pyramid Bag is mud-cloth from Mali. Every piece of mud-cloth is individually hand-dyed with fermented mud, leaves and branches, the designs passed down from mother to daughter.
